Off White

There was immense pressure with this painting... to produce something worth-while. It would be the last thing I painted at university... so it had to be amazing.

Therefore, I decided to not have any expectations for myself with this one. I simply painted whatever I wanted to paint in the moment. However, each shape, object or life was created in a may to mock.

I have a real problem with having to be seen as feminine, petite or sweet, or even the expectation to be all of these things. The big red nose reflects that of a clown, as I feel I am a fool, letting myself be polite and docile all the time.

This women sits holding a phallic shaped cone, flinging it through the air with fury. Finally she is grasping this toxic masculinity and finally she is in control. These tits with legs dance around, acting pretty and delicate like stupid ballerinas, however all they are doing are enjoying themselves. Yet here I am, thinking little of them.

As women we have to be hungry 24/7, she only eats air and sweet things, hoping that it will infect her blood stream and make more malleable. She grows resentful Petunias from her brain, wanting to murder all innocence. That is why she tears apart and devours the pure, delicate daisy. Her skin is stretched so much so that she screams, it is too greasy... is spills from her cheeks like butter.

At the bottom, innocent children dance and sing, they are oblivious to the judgement, how stupid they are for being so sweet, so happy, so pure, so white.

That is why the title is off white, as purity is tainted, it is a trap for any woman. For when you are sweet, you are pathetic.
