Time passing

I made this piece on a whim, and I definitely didn't expect anyone to like it. However, during my presentation, I was shocked to hear many of the tutors were interested in it.

It's curious, perhaps they liked it because it was painted on the back of a canvas... or maybe they just like the composition...

I don't know how it happened, but I'm thankful for it.

I actually enjoyed making this painting... there was no stress behind it, or fear... I made it for fun... on the side while I took out all my stress on my self-portrait.

Maybe it is the simplicity of it that makes it sweet. But whatever it is, I'm very proud of it.

I didn't overthink, and what was produced was a small composition that shows what I stared at everyday while Covid had us in lockdown. As I stared out my bedroom window, time passed me by, out of my control, loosing precious memories with everyday... but whatever, what can you do? at least the view is pretty, and I find some peace in being alone.
